Lois Bourne

Lois Bourne, also known by her craft name Tanith (April 10, 1928 – December 22, 2017)

Lois was initiated into Gardnerian Wicca by Gerald Gardner in 1958 and would become the High Priestess of the Bricket Wood coven in the 1960’s, before leaving to start her own coven. Lois Bourne penned several books on Wicca, sharing her insights and experiences. Her autobiography, titled “Witch Amongst Us – The Autobiography of a Witch”, provides a captivating glimpse into her life as a practitioner of the Craft. Another notable work by Lois Bourne is “Conversations with a Witch”. This book offers personal reflections and insights, exploring the depths of her magical practice and beliefs.
